Our Bystronic 6000-watt CO2 laser cutter is ideal for cutting heavy gauge flat blanks to provide drawn or formed metal parts in production stamping. Utilizing laser-cut blanks is cost-effective and reduces lead times, eliminating blanking die costs when production volumes do not support higher tooling investments. Our state-of-the-art laser cutting capabilities can handle steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and other materials up to one inch thick at lengths up to 157” long and 78” wide.
In addition, we offer soft-tooled bending capabilities with our Bystronic press brake. It provides forming tonnage up to 176 tons and has a bed length of 122”. Our press brake forming, combined with the laser, is ideally suited for producing small components used in welded assemblies or for low-volume production start-up before building production stamping tools.
